Care Guide

BED LINEN

We recommend you wash your bed linen before putting on the bed as a small amount of shrinkage will occur on the first wash. Our bed linen can be washed at up to 95°c but for normal use 60°c is normally ok. Tumble drying is not a problem but care should be taken not to overload the dryer risking greater creasing. Line dry is recommended when possible and to iron (if necessary) when slightly damp.

WHITE 650GSM TOWELS

Please wash all towels before use. Whilst our towels can be washed up to 95°c, a 60°c wash is normally ok. Tumble drying is normally ok, but be careful not to over dry and use ‘cool down’ ten minutes before the end to allow fibres to relax. Fabric softener is not required on combed cotton yarn and will ultimately result in reducing the towels absorbency.

BATHROBES

Like our towels, our 100% cotton bathrobes can be washed up to 95°c, but again a 60°c wash is normally plenty. Our Supersoft bathrobes need a little more care so only wash at 40°c. Tumble drying is normally ok, just be careful not to over heat them. It is normal for a small amount of shrinkage on the first wash.

PILLOWS & DUVETS

For the most practical of reasons, due to the size of normal domestic washers and dryers, we recommend you leave the laundering of these items to the professionals.

MATTRESS & PILLOW PROTECTORS

Fully machine washable at 60°c. Tumble drying where possible (may not be practical) is not a problem. Line dry is recommended when/where possible.

BATH RUGS

Machine washable at 60°c. Tumble drying is no problem. If possible we recommend that you should wash these in a mesh bag to prevent the yarns from catching on the drum.

BLANKETS & THROWS

Herringbone Blanket

Keep your new throw feeling fresh by airing and taking it to your local dry cleaners from time to time. If you'd prefer to wash it at home, please hand wash gently using a wool detergent and lay your throw flat to dry. Pure wool shouldn't be bleached, tumble dried, left to drip dry or ironed.

Linen Throw

We recommend washing before use at 40° on a gentle cycle with like colours. Not suitable for dry cleaning. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low. Do not iron. Keep your throw feeling fresh by airing regularly.

Natural Bedspread

Keep your new bedspread feeling fresh by airing regularly and taking it to your local dry cleaners from time to time. If you'd prefer to wash it at home, please machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colours. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low and warm iron if necessary.

White Cotton Bedspread

We recommend washing before use at 30° on a gentle cycle with like colours. Not suitable for dry cleaning. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low and iron using a cotton setting if necessary. Keep your bedspread feeling fresh by airing regularly.
